The Story
Growing up in Mexico, Issac faces extreme hardship in one of the most violent cities in the world. After losing his mother, he starts a new life with a new family in the U.S. He grinds through teenage life to get ahead – working at a male strip club, selling cars in Las Vegas, even joining the team of a U.S. Senator.

He becomes a US Marine officer, experiencing combat and witnessing some of the most defining moments around the world – liberating an Afghan village, fighting ISIS, witnessing a coup in Thailand.

He goes to business school then lands a dream job as a management consultant. After years of living like a monk and astute financial moves, he achieves financial independence, then bets everything during the pandemic-driven economic crash – and the gamble pays off.

In the midst of his American dream Russia invades Ukraine. He re-evaluates his life, and makes the bold decision: to abandon everything, and join the Ukrainian army as a basic soldier.
In Ukraine he endures unimaginable tragedy and despair – A Marine goes missing, a friend is captured, others die but the bodies can't be recovered. But in the chaos there are moments of triumph and inspiration: he infiltrates enemy lines, goes head-to-head with Chechen snipers, and helps save Kyiv from capture.
And amid the struggle and devastation he finds love and renewed purpose.
